Monday's thread of repeated shoulder punches, noogies and non political discourse

I forgot to mention a major life changing event. I bought a generator Saturday. I've got about 8 notifications from the rv resort about power being out in the last few months so we decided we need to take a generator when we go.

Needed to be an inverter generator so it will be quieter and have purer electricity. Was trying to decide between these 2 generators, one propane/gasoline, the other just gasoline. Googling about them and came across a more powerful one from tractor supply for $300 less. New model and a special.

$499. I bought it online and then drove 50 miles to pick it up. 4500 starting watts and 3650 running watts. Will run one of my ac's and everything else in the trailer at the same time.

ever try smoking one? I don't think it'll make you like meatloaf, but will give you a new way to cook it
I’ve smoked it once. They prefer baked.

Don't want one that looks like slopey from SB. Can't remember her name. She's the one who said Kobes looked like a 12 year old boy.
Seahawkette or something like that. And give me credit. She said I looked like a 14-year-old boy.

Probably familiar. I may go rest of my life without eating meatloaf again, and I'm ok with that. I gave it another shot

Although since I don't have kids, I'll probably end up in a home one day and I'll given my weekly ration of meat in loaf form while waiting to die

How many meatloafs (meatloaves?) can you make on it?

Meatloaf Monday’s.

That reminds me. Need to get a brisket out of the freezer. Going to a friend’s house this weekend, so I’m going to bring one along.
Yeah if you want to defrost in the fridge you might already be too late.

Fell down a hill jogging the other day. Fingers crossed my ankle isn't broken. Seems to be a bad sprain. Can barely put any weight on it. But today is better than yesterday. Was waiting to get it checked out if it didn't heal up

Before December is the plan.
Getting close. That’s awesome.

My parent’s are up in the air about being away for 2 months this winter. Both parents have underlying conditions, so I think they are nervous about going somewhere. They like to explore when they are gone over the winter, but that’s less likely this year all things considered. So they might not haul the camper down and instead go stay in TX at my uncle’s place for a few weeks.

so fucking funny

3650...not one of those little super quiet ones then was it? $499 is a great deal. I have a large one for when crap hits the fan (never used, knock on wood) and just bought a chinese Honda clone for taking to the fields for my pitching machine. But it's 1200w running so useless for an RV.

Yea Cincy has some serious hills and I hadn't taken that route before. Built up too much speed and just stepped wrong. Only broke a bone once in my whole life and I was nearly killed then lol. Got hit by a car as a kid.

Meatloaf Monday’s.

Now granted it is memory care, but visiting my grandma was beyond depressing when she was in one. More than once I got their around lunch time and they'd ask if I wanted a plate, never took them on it.

There were two areas, one where they could mostly feed/eat themselves, and the other where they needed assistance. My granmda was in section that could take feed herself (it was a stretch for most of them, they were pretty far in the dementia hole). Once I was there a lady just started pouring salt on her food.

takes a bite

"it's too salty"

Jerkwads wouldn't give her a new plate either. Hey, she can have the plate of food you offered me, next time keep an eye on her so she doesn't dump half bottle of salt on there. Also, why is there table salt for them anyways
