Monday's thread of repeated shoulder punches, noogies and non political discourse

When I went to Italy about a decade ago I made sure to eat lasagna for every dinner. I had one place that is was by far the best I've ever had. It was right in a piazza and I can get the name of it again. they used more cinnamon than most and that gave it a really creamy texture. Damn that was the BEST.
Cinnamon gave it a creamy texture?

I need a new laundry basket... Mine's pretty much dead. Hate spending any money on stupid shit like that

I don't care if it's only $10. It's the principle

Mrs pnk used to be obsessed with Fazolis

I never heard of it prior to her ( only 1-2 location in mn, none near me)
Definitely never heard of it.

i did ribeyes yesterday. brought 3 over to my buddies, and 2 pies. i try and keep red meat to 3 days a week tops. ate my steak, left the pies.

i smoke pot. :headbanger: pies and pot are a bad mix.
Ribeyes rock.

I made one last spring with dandelion greens and two types of foraged mushrooms. Best frittata I’ve ever made/eaten.
@kobesgame woke up the next morning on top of a Butte and had no idea how she got there

It was probably all the rest of the stuff, but yeah with a light sausage flavor the cinnamon can smooth it out and give it an almost dairy taste

Just looked em up, they are still around. No where close to me, but next time I'm near one I'm going through. Gotta get those breadsticks.

It's the cow tongue that is nasty as shit. I went to a little hole in the wall taco joint that was older than dirt. Figured if they looked like that and were still in business that long they must know their stuff. Ordered some tacos and they were the driest taco's I ever had, and the meat had a weird texture. After I had eaten one the counter guy came over with a plate and apologized he had given me the wrong order. I asked what I had just eaten, lengua de vaca. I can say, their actual beef tacos were outstanding.

If done right they're good.

Do the kids get inside them and ride them down the steps? If not, they are missing out on a life experience

I can get around the idea of how it enhances the flavor, but I can’t comprehend how it’d affect texture.
