Mondays with the World Series

Not sure how credible it is? But I heard someone say that Guardians could be suitors

I think that is coming from the fans that realize they are just a bat or two away from winning it all, plus the twitter users out there posting about how the CLE owner is worth more than the Yankees owner. That ignores the yearly income from baseball operations, though.

Yankees will re-sign him. If not the Dodgers will
if the yankees let him leave the building to take site visits, i wouldn't count the phillies out. would be interesting to see how they can turn him to shit.

was not rooting for cleveland

But don't really like Yankee's either

Lynx got robbed of championship ring. I would be more upset, but I just learned name of their star player, so...I can't be that upset.

Vikings finally lost. Lions get good first time in my life and their fan base has turned pretty insufferable. Detroit would need to sweep Vikings for the next 20 years to even series the up and they act like vikings will never be able to beat to Detroit, but was good game, just tough way to lose on last minute FG.

See, I would normally agree. But you know what this right here feels like? It feels to me like Arte Moreno is about to pull a Moreno and pay a shit ton of money to one player hoping that it will get his team out of the cellar.

Soto's contract is going to be in the realm of 12-14 years and will be an AAV of at least $50m. He's a hell of a player but a big money team is going to be where he ends up. PHI already has the highest committed payroll for 2025, think there is room in there for another $50m? That would put you at $275m for just 12 players.

If I had to go to Vegas and put money on the top 3 Soto destinations:
1) Yankees
2) Baltimore
3) Cleveland

in that order. But that assumes the Yankees win it all this year. I could see them giving walking papers to Soto and thanks for the ring.

mallen, goddess, and the douche here are the only lions fans i've known. oh that oldtimer fuckbag. they've always sucked. i imagine the detroitballerz douches were lions fans as well. i'm sure there's a good one out of the lot i'm forgetting. always thought slob was a shitlicker.

if the yankees let him leave the building, i 100% expect they would be players in the bidding war.

I am sure the Phillies will make an offer but I don't see the Yanks letting him go (sure listen to offers but not let him go elsewhere)

No way in hell.

I saw that article last week and read it. The writer was just talking about how signing Soto could impact the four different teams in the division series.

Ridiculous.

You know this negative vibe isn't improving my fan experience

And how has this worked for them previously?

Go Yankees!

(that really hurts to say)

Why does that hurt? Last week you said you were pulling for the Yankees
I am doing it because the fiance is a Yankees fan...and I want her happy.

but...if I were single ill...I don't think I'd be going that route

not even married and you're already doing things you hate for her, doesn't sound like a good match.

I'm not putting on a Yankees hat for her or anything...and if they were facing the Phils I of course wouldn't be rooting for them.

but this is a lesser of 2 evils kind of thing here...and I would rather her be happy than have the Dodgers win.
