Yeah I don't think this was some massive ring of perverts. He had the means and opportunity for doing what he did, so he did it. Fortunately he got caught and he deserves the strongest of possible punishments he can get. It makes my skin crawl to think about that. If I had a daughter that was one of his victims I would have a hard time not tracking him down and taking care of things myself.

No doubt. I don't have any daughters, but I have nieces and I'd want to strangle the guy myself, if one of them were involved.

The fact he has 3 young kids and a wife makes this even more disturbing, as he not only ruined the lives of so many student athletes, but his family as well.

I keep thinking about this, without knowing exactly what he did and I am so unbelievably lost. This isn't the 80's and 90's, where you had to rely on playboy and penthouse for your naked women pics. "I've been told" you can find pron sites all over the internet for any kind of disturbing kink you might have. Why go thru the hassle of what he did? (I'm assuming he used it for self gratification, since it wasn't to trade, sell, blackmail, etc)

I think with these sort of people its not ever about money, even if they could make money about it. It's like a power trip thing. It makes them get intoxicated feeling like they have power and are in control of something. Yes of course there is a sexual perversion aspect as well obviously.

You see this a lot with people who are well off, they get bored with their lives so they end up seeing how much they can push the boundaries for a rush. That's why you end up with millionaire/billionaire pedophiles.

I get the angle you are talking about -- but these people had no clue at all it was happening, so I guess I don't see what power he'd get from it?

I could see that angle being true if he were using the photos to blackmail them into sending more or something along those lines.

I guess it is all speculation now -- any way you twist it -- he was sick bastard and deserves to have the book thrown at him and spend a long, long time in prison. I know this probably won't be popular, but I hope when the victims sue, they don't go after his family. I hope the Ravens and Michigan pay off the victims and his family can keep their house and whatever saving they have, as they will need it to help the kids get thru this.
