Based on the final AP poll:

Ohio State beat #2, 3, 4 and 9 in the playoffs.

They also beat # 5 and #10 in the regular season.

6 of the top 10.

Boss move.
 
Six wins over final AP top 10 teams. Has that ever been done? Almost seems certain it hasn't, and honestly it isn't going to happen often.

It’s a good thing there is no such thing as a 4 or 8 team playoff. Like I said, far from the best season overall but the hardest path/gauntlet in college football history to this point.

Looked like a brutal run on paper when the bracket came out, and it was. The team really stepped up and played their best when it really mattered. Gotta give credit to the coaching staff too.

Still hilarious that the fans wanted to run Ryan Day out of town in November. Now they love him (until next november).
