Most exciting live sporting event you've ever attended

I remember going to bed that night thinking what the hell is going on in that game and thinking Arizona was going to pull a massive upset, just to watch Sportscenter when I got up and saw the Bears won. That was a fun defense to watch.
I think Mike Brown is the best football player to never "make it". Injuries derailed his career, but that dude had a nose for the football. He was Ed Reed before Ed Reed, minus the duration.

Heck of a player.

2004 Packers vs Seahawks NFC Wildcard game

I was at about the 30 yardline on the sideline Al Harris ran down for the winning pick-6.

The place went fucking nuts.

I got to go to the tOSU - Oregon NCG at Jerry World. That was a tremendous experience, but after a little bit the Buckeyes gained control of the game and it wasn't in doubt much.

The most exciting is probably a tie between 2 Rangers games. Game 6 of the 2010 ALCS against the Yankees. Rangers clinched their first trip to the World Series when Neftali Feliz struck out A-Rod. The Temple was absolutely electric.

The other game was Game 5 of the 2011 World Series vs the Cardinals. The Rangers tied the game up at 2-2 in the bottom of the 6th and party boi Mike Napoli ripped a game winning 2-run double in the 8th, propping the Rangers to a 3-2 series lead. It was awesome...the remainder of the series was far less awesome from a Rangers perspective.

1997 Molson Indy Vancouver. I was at every race but the first (which had a fatality with a course worker getting run over).

But this race I scored some free extra tickets from work that were located by the hairpin.

Alex Zanardi driving for Target/Ganassi was the star even if he didn't win. Devil may care driving. Over ran the hair pin 3 times right in front of me. He came back to finish 4th but was well back each time he missed the hairpin.

Stunning passes, big balled passes right in front of me when he wasn't overrunning the turn.

I've been to several cool events. The January 1st 2020 Rose Bowl game, Herbert and Oregon beat Wisconsin. Several ACC Championships in basketball, etc. But the game that will always stand out for me was Marquette at the Greensboro Coliseum in 1978. Duke was hosting the defending national champions. Al Mcguire and Dick Enberg were announcing the game on CBS since McGuire had just retired from coaching. It was an incredible crowd. Just about a minute before the game went on air a poster unraveled to about ten feet from the floor that said "Go To Hell Carolina" and that's still the loudest roar I've ever heard at a game.

What's the best live sporting event you've ever attended?

For me, hands down it has to to be game 3 of the We Believe Warriors playoff series against Dallas. It was the loudest and craziest crowd I've ever been a part of. We ended up blowing them out that game to go up 2-1 in the series.

Other cool ones I've been to:

MJ last games in 98 and 2003.
Barry Bonds last game.

Fun Fact: even though I've been a niner fan for years, and my dad went to the first 3 Superbowls that the Niners played in, I've only been to 2 games ever. Once at the stick and once at Levi's. Both losses if I recall, lol.
1995 Raiders @Jets game - a drunken fight between a traveling (?) Raiders fan and about 20 Jets fan erupted in our section as the Jets got killed. It featured a fat shirtless guy doing karate and lots of beer-throwing.

1999 Sabres @Capitals Eastern Conference Final playoff (Game 2) - 3 rows back from the ice on the corned, seated next to the guy who had learned enough Czech to heckle Dominic Hasek all game. Finally, in the 3rd period, Hasek lost his cool and threw his blocker at Peter Bondra, who had run him over.

2005 Yankees @Nationals game - sometime in June. It was one of the first seasons for the Nats in Washington, and there were probably as many or more Yankee fans in the stadium. They destroyed the Nats for ~6 innings, before an improbable comeback featuring Yankee errors and the Nats won 11-9. RFK hadn't been that loud since the Redskins moved out.

Game 2 of the 2018 Braves vs Cardinals NLDS. Folty pitched a gem. Rest of the series didn’t go so well, but that was the most electric atmosphere at a Braves game I’ve been at.

2000 spring race in Atlanta. Dale Earnhardt edges Bobby Labonte by inches for the second to last win of his HOF career. Had seats with my grandpa at the finish line.

2001 spring race in Atlanta, same seats as the year before, three races after Dale Earnhardt died, his replacement Kevin Harvick edged out Jeff Gordon by inches in eerily similar fashion for his first win of his HOF career.

Game 4 of the 83 Eastern Conference semis when the Buck swept the Celtics. So fucking loud in the Mecca you couldn't hear yourself think.

Honorable mention - Game 2 of the 2018 NLDS. I didn't know Miller Park could get so loud.

1. 2017 ALDS Game 3 Greg Bird GW HR against Andrew Miller sorry @Shanemansj13
2. 2017 ALCS Game ALCS Game 4 Yankees come back from a 4-0 deficit in the 7th inning against Houston
3. Giants at Packers Wild Card game 2016-17 season Packers blowout

Say sorry to the cheap ass Mr. Dolan, not me

I have been to several college football games including an Iron Bowl, several great NASCAR races at Dega and BMS, some good hockey and the Harlem Globetrotters with Curly, Geese, and Meadowlark but hands down the two most exciting were:
1. A moonshine fueled donkey softball game.
2. The King and His Court ... four man softball team.

Agreed. He always had a way of making plays at just the right time

Same with Bob Sanders of the Colts

I seen the Globetrotters in 1975, I was 7 years old. It was awesome!

The King and His court was like the Globetrotters of fast pitch softball. They started in the mid 1940s and by the time I saw them they were touring for beer money ... according to them. Was a hell of a pitching clinic.

Tie for me. My Son Jared fought at undefeated monster on a Legacy MMA card in Shreveport and tapped him out in round 2. My Son Erik, who has always wanted to play for the Yankees, hit 2 HR's in a college game with a Yankee scout in the stands. I about pissed my pants both times

I am not sure most exciting, but my boss let me have his courtside seats when the Twolves were in town. I was not allowed to cheer for them, and KAT had a monster game. He still likes to laugh at me sitting there uncomfortably while I can't cheer.
