Most seasons averaging 30 points per game

I don’t remember who said it, it was when I was a kid, I remember Adrian Dantley being known as the place the ball goes to die.

Great scorer though. Knew how to get to the line.

Last I heard he was a crossing gaurd at a middle school. Didn’t need the money, but the heath insurance was great and it was close to his house.
 
Being a scoring champ has little to do with winning except that one guy. Only 3 players have been scoring leader and won the Championship in the same year. Jabbar once, Shaq once, and that Jordan guy, multiple times.

Apparently, Isiah Thomas had him run out of Detroit and that was the final piece they needed to win the Championship.
