I'm glad the Oklahoma State @ Iowa State game made the Big Xii Top 5 and would be #01 in the ACC and #02 in the Pac-12 for conference games so far this year. Being on Network TV (FOX) makes a big difference. It was a lot of fun being there in person too! :)

TV Network and timeslot make a huge difference. The top 2 PAC 12 games are at 3:30 ET. Playing after dark limits you to almost exclusively to the West Coast

...and this is why there will never be a G5 playoff and why nobody that matters cares how many G5 teams make the playoffs.

I’m curious to see what Michigan @ Michigan State will draw
It will be hurt by the time slot, but it should compete with the better noon games, around 5.5. Could get over 6 if they start pimping it out a little more. I would say over 7 in prime time. I will be tuning in, hoping for the Harbaugh melt down.

We are getting pimped being stuck on Fox since they have the World Series, that’s taking prime time spot.

The Noon Time slot is fine. Don’t have to go up against the WS or the Ohio State game

Or go head to head with Georgia vs Florida or Auburn vs Ole Miss. I can’t even find an early SEC game being played so the numbers should be very good.

Basically once Oklahoma and Texas move to the SEC there ratings will be absolutely dominated by the SEC, B1G and ND.

I don’t think Oklahoma State vs Iowa State moves the needle once the Big 12 transitions. The divide is only going to get bigger. I will say this though I actually watched that game this year because the other games were crap so having a competitive game does matter.
