Yep. I don't understand why they didn't the first time. This could have been a multi score win for West Virginia.

Didn’t see what the distance was but only thing I can think of to defend em is their #1 kicker got hurt last week and IIRC was not available this week.
They may not trust the backup

WV did seem to make some head scratcher choices. Coming up on the wrong side, they drop to 4-3, 3-3. Texas improves to 5-2, 4-2.

That no call pass interference was absolutely bullshit.

That backwards pass being reversed was absolutely bullshit.

BUT, at the end of the day when you make 6 trips inside your opponents 35 with 5 OF THOSE TIMES INSIDE THE 10 AND MANAGE 13 FUCKING POINTS you deserve to lose.

I’ll give you the PI in the endzone. The “backward pass” wasn’t backward. Appeared that way because of the camera angle. It’s was clear that he caught the ball forward. Little surprised Brown didn’t kick the FG the first time. I get going for it on the second 4th down
