Move B1G championship games to Vegas

Not like they do to warm weather climates.

The Big 10 fans have jumped from "It's too cold, rainy, snowy in Big 10 country for PAC teams" to "PAC teams will have to travel 2 or 3 time zones"

How did the 3 time zones work for Ohio St last time Oregon traveled there?

Revenge is a powerful thing. 2014-15 Natty beat down lol

Oh good. The mental gymnastics gets even deeper.

This thread turned into the weather channel.

Oh. OP started the thread as the weather channel.

Hey B1G Ten! Now that Vegas is need of conference championship games, this would be a great location to put the football championship game and basketball tournament at. No one is really looking forward to going to Indianapolis in December, but I know many people would love a trip to Vegas in December to catch their team in the B1G championship game!

Also, while we are at it, I don't know where you guys hold your track and field championships, but Eugene needs to be the new place.

He's actually right about the point. However, I don't know why Vegas would be the venue. None of the Big 10 teams new or old have anything to do with Nevada. Why the PAC had their CCG and Media Days there was their business. They had nothing to do with Nevada teams either.

I'd rotate between the Rose Bowl and some dome in Big 10 country.

This ain’t difficult. You saying that was not a revenge game? That’s funny

Many factors come into play in sports lol

Why in a dome? Are you saying weather could be a factor?

Let our Middle America posters chime in here, serious opinion, put bias aside, It's December 5th, you can either go to Vegas to watch your team or Indianapolis to watch your team, where do you want to go for the conference championship game?
Last year’s NCG was in LA. Me and a group of friends flew out to Vegas and spent a few days and rented an SUV and drove to LA for the game. It was a great trip, but I would have much rather the game just been in Atlanta. Could have enjoyed Vegas more that way and not been totally underwhelmed by SoCal and the fancy new Rams stadium with a leaky roof

Well you just continue moving the goalposts then.

If it weren't for the damn time zones dragging Oregon down they'd have won 56-28 instead of 35-28.

amirite?

For the fans it is.

Weather is a factor for both football teams.
Indy has a comfy dome and the average temp in Indy on December 5th for the last decade has been nearly 50 degrees, and that's with 2018 being 29 degrees pulling that down a bit. If that's too tough for your wimpy ass, you don't deserve CFB to begin with.

This is funny. You asked me about the Oregon Ohio St game being about time zones and I answered revenge game and also said many factors come into play.

But I’m moving goalposts now.

I guess Nebraska fans haven’t experienced a beat down in a Natty for awhile and don’t understand the motivation behind the next meeting of those 2 teams?

Are NFL domes in cold weather climates built for the teams or for the fans?

If it's for the teams then they're taking their own so called advantage away, no?

The domes are for the fans. No different than domes in hot climates.

Real fans don't need domes, college or NFL. Lincoln or Green Bay

Ummm

I'm not the one making an issue about the potential for cold/rainy Saturdays across the Plains/Midwest in late November. That's your fellow Big 10 fans.

So now we've moved the goalposts to Nebraska?

LMFAO!!!

Boys, boys. Let's not fight. We all have our opinions. To me, the perfect weather for football is 45-50, sunny, no wind. Or 80, cloudy and 75% humidity, or 30, light snow, or...

Can't believe I got to defend USC here, but this was Clay Helton's Trojans. Different beast under Lincoln Riley. How USC hired and kept Helton for as long as they did is astonishing to me.

ummm

Clay Helton had an 11-3 team at USC also.

But let's not let the facts get in the way.
