TV Series Ms. Marvel

When they finally wrap the MCU, I hope the last scene is someone explaining that all the super heroes were really just mentally unbalanced people living out fantasy in their heads. All the characters sitting around in straightjackets, drooling on themselves. :pound:

wouldn't that apply to any kind of high fantasy or science fiction too?

"No, Fred. Your name isn't Frodo and you never had any magical ring. Now please take your meds."

or they just pan out from the credits to Stan Lee sitting in an old folks home just staring off into space

Then they nailed it.
it will likely play into the whole big story of the MCU, so it might be worth watching...that way you aren't like "who the fuck is this character?"

they kind of put you in a position where even though it isn't high on your list, you NEED to watch it so that you understand Avengers 10 somewhere down the road

With all of the TV series, I’m now quite a bit behind. I don’t think I’ve seen any of them.

I assume you are referring to the new Disney shows?

They are all pretty much required viewing. They all contribute to the universe building.

The older stuff, while good, is not as important to the greater picture. SHIELD was initially quite tied to the movies, but then they went off the main timeline and ultimately isn’t required to understand anything in the movies.

Agent Carter was alright, but I wasn’t too sad when it was cancelled. It never really grabbed me. It ended up having a decent influence on the later seasons of SHIELD, and it is generally referenced throughout the greater universe, but only very vaguely, so it isn’t really required viewing.

The NetFlix shows look like they are going to be getting more play in the bigger picture moving forward, but outside of DD and Fisk, none of the other stuff is “official” cannon anymore. Punisher is rumored to be brought into other projects, but to my knowledge, that is not confirmed.

Cloak & Dagger was alright. It made some soft referances to the NetFlix shows, but it has never been referenced outside of itself. While OK, it is certainly skippable.

Runaways was absolute trash. I watched one season. It lasted 3. I attempted to watch S2, but I litterally bailed halfway through S2.E1. I don’t fear in the slightest that I made the wrong decision.

I am working my way through Hawkeye but not really into it...but yea...you need to watch them if you want to have a clue what is going on
