It was tongue and cheek and don’t ask for a quote because it was on the radio some time ago and I can’t remember which Seattle station it was on was but Oliver Luck said Texas couldn’t pay for the education Andrew got at Stanford but tried.

That was sour grapes..Mack backed off because if he got Andrew there Garrett Gilbert (#1 ranked QB) would have decommitted. Papa Gil told Mack that he didn't want any other QB in the class with his son and Mack obliged.

Maybe it was Rice that couldn't pay for the education Andrew got at Stanford?? LOL

A Texas poster who is pretty legit says that Elko the DC at aggy is getting real smoke to becoming a HC. Not sure if he's on SCe radar but he thinks if he does move on, Muschamp will replace him at aggy. They are close friends.
 
He passed along that Joe Brady interviewed for the SCe job last week but "balked" at all the requirements that he has to do being a HC.. He's not ready to be a HC just yet...
 
Elko was the DC at Wake for a few years, so i'm a little familiar with him

I think he would take a job close to the northeast.. only because he recruits that part of the country hard. He's a good DC.
 
Listen not landing top DB’s to come to South Carolina I can understand but sucking at recruiting DB’s to come to UF is certainly something so easy T-rob had much success doing it, a guy USC fans say sucks at recruiting, so that should tell you guys how bad gray's second stint was.
