Probably the same reason he threw 2 deep balls on 2nd and 3rd down on Purdue 40 with 1 minute left to set up a failed 57 yard FG. Just plain dumb, IMO.
 
When they do that SEC video thing where they pick the L's it's gonna be a long line.
 
The Vols have themselves to blame for this loss with poor tackling, missed coverage assignments, poor blocking, and terrible play-calling.

The officials just helped them cut their own throat.

Was Tennessee without a bunch of DBs?

Kind of surprised Purdue threw for as many yards considering they didnt have their top WRs and their "top" guy out there was a dude with 2 bad knees

Actually it does if Purdue is allowed to grab and hold onto our defensive linemen like they were able to do the entire game. There were blatant over and over, holding calls that impacted the play and were never called.
