He’s a lineman for one of the electric companies. He was pulled over on the side of the road in his boom truck to let a funeral procession go by when the driver of the hearse had something happen to him and plowed right into my brother’s parked truck. He said the family and friends in the procession were hysterical. Bad deal for all involved. But as someone who wasn’t there, I have to laugh a little bit about the absurdity of the situation

The hearse driver okay?

So did the burial start on time

Dead guy really wanted to be cremated.

Ritual suicide?

Read the thread title and thought, damn, Chewy’s brother is dating Amber Heard now.
My SIL is a nut job, but I don’t think she’d shit in their bed. But she gave my niece a weird name with a weirder spelling, so that’s bad enough

Damn, glad to hear the driver is ok since that looks bad. Nothing more your brother could do but I bet he still feels bad for the family. I'd be livid if I were the family, but a medical issue can't really be prevented. Good thing it was a big truck and not a little smart car.

I think my brother was still in shock when he called me. There’s not many people that can claim they’ve been hit by a hearse.

If it were a close friend or relative of mine, I’d definitely be pissed.

The driver claims he blacked out, but I’d be claiming the same thing whether it were true or not. For his sake, I hope it’s the truth and nothing bites him in the ass when they check his phone usage. But he had to be going at a decent clip to do that much damage to the hearse.

I don’t know anything about line work, and I didn’t ask, but I think that’s the truck they use to set new power poles in the ground
