Got a little more info this afternoon.

They kept the hearse driver overnight to run tests, but someone else that was there has been saying the driver was messing with the a/c when the crash happened, and if that's true, I'd say he's gonna have some hell to pay.

Also the impact knocked a hole and bent up the casket, and jumbled the dead lady's body around and they didn't reposition her or put her in another casket before the burial finally got to take place.

And my brother has been offered free counselling, but he declined.

I think that family is gonna get that funeral service comped.

I think your brother should be “haunted” by the horror of what happened that day.

He’s a lineman for one of the electric companies. He was pulled over on the side of the road in his boom truck to let a funeral procession go by when the driver of the hearse had something happen to him and plowed right into my brother’s parked truck. He said the family and friends in the procession were hysterical. Bad deal for all involved. But as someone who wasn’t there, I have to laugh a little bit about the absurdity of the situation
