The first king cake I’ve ever bought myself.
Happy epiphany.

Don’t know. I guess my fatass will find out eventually

Is it officially a 'King Cake' without a porcelain baby inside?

I actually didn't know there were King Cakes outside of Mardi Gras which is March 4th this year.

Without frosting and sprinkles that looks more like a giant crescent roll. Therefore, I doubt there's a baby inside, because it's hidden in the cake after it's baked, and the hole covered with frosting.

King cakes start on Epiphany, which is today

That's an epiphany for me. I'm not religious so I'd be ignorant to that type of stuff.

I just remember someone always bringing a King Cake into work when I was in the military in Biloxi, MS back in the 80's.

Happy Epiphany Day to you!!
