We have 25 days until the season kicks off, so I'm unveiling my top 25 OOC matchups for this season. I've done some sort of iteration of this in the past and it's always fun. Tbh, there aren't that many great matchups, but the depth of matchups is pretty good I think, with some intrigue.

#4 is a conference game isn't it? Jexas and OU keep getting called SEC in other stories :dhd:

Notre Dame and BYU with four top 25s each…counting the one where they play each other.
how can that even be a nonconference game when neither team is in a conference?

My interest in BYU isn't quite as high as the OP's is

They intrigue me some this year. But it more so has to do with who the opponent is. I think they're probably a 7/8 win team this year, and they have a good atmosphere when playing at home. Not often you see a P5 team outside the P12 go to Provo to play a game. That add some uniqueness to it for me.

Every game is an OOC game.
false they cant be out of something they arent in. they are just games
the only OOC part is for the other team that is in one.

Cool, then you can call it a conference game.

what kind of reading comprehension brain damage do you have?
it is neither a conference game or a nonconference game. Neither BYU or Notre Dame or any other independent has either. they simply have games. the byu vs Notre dame game.
not the conference game. not the nonconference game. just the game.

Lmaooooo. Crazy that Lindy's would rank "a game" the 9th best non conference game if it's just "a game." It stays.

If I’m making a list like this, I’m leaving out the yearly OoC games. Probably most semi-regular series too (Either MS P5 team vs Memphis, App St-WF, etc.).

What a weird win attempt here. You high?

I kind of agree with this. It's why UL/UK, Clemson/South Carolina and GT/UGA aren't on here, plus I don't expect the latter two to be competitive. I did have UL/UK in HM, because I do think it'll be a good game, but still not overwhelmingly great. If FSU and UF(more so FSU) get their shit together, that's always been a great game historically. If this were 25 years ago, a game like that is probably #1.
