Not completely "forgotten" but many don't recall that Shoeless Joe was better as an Indian than he was with Chicago.

I don’t know…..maybe it homer showing but I sure don’t forget Rose as a Phillie. And really….they won a series with him, and went a lost one with him a few years later.

Pete Rose as an Expo is much more apt.

That O's team had Javy Lopez, Miguel Tejada, Sammy Sosa, and Rafael Palmeiro

serious star power for a team that only won 74 games

13 year old me was excited for that team, b/c while the Braves were on TBS and Turner South in NC, the Orioles were on FSN (until Time Warner sold the Braves)

i remember them starting out hot then they fucking sucked

Orioles Sosa was not very good, not to mention their outfield and bench were pretty lousy. They may have had big names, but they finished 10th in the AL in runs scored

Matt Stairs... I knew he played for quite a few teams but I didn't realize that he played for 12 different teams (in fact, I had no idea he was once on the Red Sox)
