NAPA Review

I've been plastidiping all the chrome on my truck. Removed all but one emblem and I whited it out as well as my A&M badge. The giant chrome grill will be going flat black though and haven't decided what to do the door handles in. Can't stand the chrome.

That sounds really nice. I am the same way about chrome. Not my thing. I really like the all blacked out look. The Suburban I got was custom built by someone else - not sure why they didn’t get it but my guy called me when that deal fell through because other than the few pieces I mentioned, the whole truck inside and out is black, wheels included. I got it tinted out, windshield and all. So once I add these few pieces I’ll be good.

When I worked at a hardware store in high school it never failed that once a week someone would show up a couple of minutes after close. We would lock all but one door since usually we were finishing up a customer inside and some "please I just need one part and it will take 2 seconds" jackass rolls up. Usually whomever is manning the door will fall for that shit once. My only time I fell for it the guy ended up needing a fucking faucet valve and hadn't brought his with him. I didn't know that when I let him in for "real quick" and ended up with him on the aisle going through ever fucking LASCO diverter to find the one that "looks right". Fuck that guy and his real quick that took 15 minutes. Never again, everyone got told tough shit.
We see these guys too, we'll be finishing up with a customer like you say and then a customer shows up after we close and lurks at the front door waiting for us to let the customer out and then this lurker wants us to help them. One time it was for a water pump on a wood chipper. It was a small block chevy and I asked if it was a short or tall water pump. They asked to see both and finally after 20 minutes of dicking around he takes one of them. They were at the door the next morning telling me I sold them the wrong water pump. I said to them, Thanks for wasting our time and explained to them this is why I wanted to see their old one and match it up".

Rookie mistake.
You always take the old part with you to the parts store.

EVERY. FUCKING. TIME.
