They go 4-8 next year and then fire Billy?

Man, their last 4 games are away!!!

no they're not, it's just how the website lists games until the dates are settled

I think Florida has improved considerably, even if it doesn't really reflect in the record. The schedule has been very tough... unfortunately it doesn't look a whole lot easier in 2025

Oh man, I was getting ready to say... Geez.

The buyout for Napier alone would have been more than $26 million

Florida is one of the poors, it would seem

I get it TBH, they paid 12mm for Mullen to leave and not be the coach, now pay 26mm to pay Sunbelt Billy to leave and not to coach and then pony up for another coach and staff?
Florida is not awful, Lagway has looked good, good enough to be a nice player for the future but also good enough to get poached away if there is uncertainty with the HC and staff.

Save the $ for 2024, try and put some more pieces around the QB for next season, pray the SEC gives em a little easier schedule and then, if it’s not what they want at this point next year, yea cut bait.

So we get visor jackass for another year.

gator fans are mad but they shouldn't be..

4 losses so far this season:
#2 Georgia#4 Miami#7 Tennessee#15 Texas A&M

they play #5 Texas in Austin tomorrow..

they have the same schedule next season.. better to see what he does with a healthier team hopefully.. rather than bringing in a new coach who has to get through this schedule again.

I think the semi smart thing to do is see what happens next season. That is a lot of money to come off of and not counting hiring the new coach as @CoalTrain stated. But I am saying, for the Florida Gators, this is not the guy that is going to bring this team to SEC championships and the playoff.
