I think Michigan easily takes out Cincy. That's why I was so bummed when Bama got that lucky draw. I still think that. Their athletes we easily could have shut down, and we would have scored our normal 20-30 points and won the game. Would have been a like 30-14 game.

hmmmm

Georgia and Bama are #3 and #4 in 'Rushing Defense' so basically the same.

Michigan had 91 rushing yds against Georgia, where Cincy had 74 rushing yds against Bama.

Michigan probably beats Cincy, but more like single digits, as opposed to Notre Dame losing to them 24-13.

Hard to judge anything on Cincy's season stats since they played a G5 schedule.

Probably won’t win because I know from 2011 how hard it is to beat a great team twice…but if we do win we will 3peat

Both teams are full of homosexuals and criminals. The game should be called off and Cincinnati awarded the national championship.
This.

Hard to beat a team twice in one year, let alone 5 weeks. Kirby and Georgia probably spent 1 day prepping for Michigan and have spent the rest of the time prepping for Bama

The only team that can beat Bama is Bama

Definitely didn’t spend much time on Michigan. They essentially run the same offense as us with less talent, and focus on stopping their edge rushers and we were golden. Terrible matchup for Michigan

UGA has the talent to beat Bama. Coaching is a major issue though
Question is if both teams played their best game who would win? If the answer is Bama then they have to beat themselves to lose. That question includes both talent, execution, and coaching.

I think if both play their best game, it’s a coin flip. A real 50-50, not the running joke from the water cooler over the last week

Michigan scored almost twice as many points!

Lost by a larger spread doh.

34-11 = 23
27-6 = 21

Cincy would clearly beat Michigan by 2 pts.

I'll add to this that Michigan only beat (3-9) Nebraska by 3 points with 1:00 remaining in regulation.
Cincy would highly likely have beaten Nebraska as well.

Michigan/Cincy would likely be a single digit game.

Cincy exceeded expectations imo. They certainly held up better than UM did.

Based on what happened in the semis, Cincy probably beats UM H2H.

Bama man handled Cincy. Did Cincy even complete a pass in the second half? Seemed like every time Ridder dropped back, he either got sacked or the ball was swatted at the line.

And Bama could have scored a lot more just by running up the gut every play. Their RB looked like he had 20 pounds on every Cincy D-lineman

And they didn't, by design. Not really a game that anyone should be drawing inspiration or comparisons from.
