Buckeyes are kings of every mountain except Michigan lol. When you win a national title it's supposed to be the best thing ever, but you and I both know that there's one thing holding this one back.

They won when it mattered, deal with it. So what if they didn't match YOUR criteria for a natty, the trophy now has their name on it and nothing you can do about it.

About to be 0-5 next year. Bryce Underwood is coming to town. Beat you with a walk on, can't imagine what we'll do to that soft team down south when we have a real QB again.

No they didn't, they lost in November and got a playoff spot as a consolation prize. Michigan Ohio State is the only game that matters.

Seeing Michigan fans trying to claim that they are the "last real national champions" and this title doesn't mean anything is exactly what i'd expect from them (especially a tool bag like Portnoy)

I'm just commenting on a thread, are you melting down because you're commenting on a thread? I had a nice peaceful sleep, congratulated you on your title at halftime but the fact still remains -- Michigan owns Ohio State, including this Ohio State team that just won a national title. This team will always be associated with 0-4, and it's awesome.

Within a minute of scrolling I witnessed the following claims

Ohio State got a "easy draw" to the final
Ohio State is "lucky the playoff format changed"
Michigan is the last "true national champion" the title is a sham now
"The title is a joke when a team that finishes 4th in their conference can win it"

It's sad man. MnB is like some mentally shattered guy in a straight jacket repeating the same nonsense while everyone tries to console him. I'm sure there are plenty more of them like him, which is sad because all the other michigan fans, on this board at least, are being normal and respectful.
 
That “finished 4th in their conference” deal is so meaningless with no divisions and incredibly unbalanced schedules.

They beat two of the teams that finished ahead of them in the conference, but they finished 4th because they played all of the other top B1G teams, going 2-1 against them while none of the other top B1G teams played each other.

Doubt they finish behind PSU and Indiana if those two had to play each other and Oregon

It's hilarious that they are trying to act like Ohio State fans are having some kind of "meltdown" after winning a national title. They clearly are not taking this well at all. The mental gymnastics are hilarious.

I'm sure they would have no problem with it if Michigan had lost to Oregon & Ohio State, stumbled into the playoff and then ended up winning it. It would be "different" then. Lol!!!

I've even seen some of them on their site claiming some "linear national title" because they won last year and beat us this year. This is some straight up OD shit. That's like a Raiders fan taking claim to last years Super Bowl because they beat the Chiefs in a regular season game.
