I'm pretty sure she broke that cart, probably bent the wheel in. Didn't have much room but got up enough speed to hit that wall harder than any ND RB hit the hole last night. :hide:

Watched a replay of Jeremiah's game clinching catch and noticed something that made me think Golden wasn't as silly as I thought. Looked like Xavier Watts was supposed to be in over the top help but the inside DB covering Ohio States TE falls over basically at the LOS. Watts has to move up to cover the TE. If he stays in help then the TE is wide open for a huge gain as well

Gray was spying for an underneath route too in case he had to break off. Problem is Smith is too fast to play catch up. He was never able to recover. I’m not sure I agree with that strategy without safety help but as you point out that help wasn’t able to get there.

I also think they’re coached like this because they expect the rush to get home. It had all year up to that point. Ideally for them Howard wouldn’t have time to get that pass off to Smith that deep.

Bottom line is Chip had them in favorable matchups all night. He coached a hell of a game.

I know Gray got picked on but I’m not faulting him. We aren’t even playing in this game if it weren’t for him. See A&M, USC, Penn St.

Nah, I think you got a special one in that kid. He is only a sophomore so he is just gonna get better. That was just a stupidly tough assignment without help.

He was good as a backup his freshman year and he passed older guys on the depth chart. Thats why Jaden Mickey redshirted and portal’d. He wanted to play and he knew he would be behind Morrison, Gray and Leonard Moore. Morrison said that Leonard Moore is better than him and when do you ever hear a DB admit they’re not the best.

Seriously, if you are the champs .... act like it. Why would you concern yourselves with a team that isn't the champs ... to make matters worse an 8-5 team. It appears there is a lot of self doubt or an Inferiority Complex. I saw the final score. ohio state won 34-23. Therefore, I know that ohio state won the Championship Game. Beating y'all made our season a success, seeing @MAIZEandBLUE09 inside your heads is icing on the cake.
