I'll never understand going to a wake for someone you never met and doesn't seem remotely close to the person who knew them that you know. this is like some kevin bacon stuff.

his wifes aunt died would be the simple way to say it and makes it simpler to understand why he would have to go.

but I'm wondering if I should thaw them out first and let them sit in their own blood? And they're stuffed with bacon and cheese, so is it bad if the bacon blood mixes with the beef blood?
