That $2,000 is coming from somewhere. I’m guessing it’s baked into their margin. They’re not getting better execution from Fannie or Freddie.

I think there are some schools that livestream their events. The local cable company does a "game of the week" where everyone in the county gets a spot regardless of their records. Kind of like the participation trophy for local access television

Maybe. Depends on how it is structured. If they offer the deal regardless of where you fall in the rate stack, they have it baked into margin.

If I can get $3.50 (from a $35 purchase) back for adding a Marathon gas reward on my card, I guess $2,000 (from $300,000) isn't crazy.
