Nats forced to trade Soto

That’s the business. I’m talking about the game I used to love. That’s dead.
Players back then were getting the biggest contracts they could at the time too. There's a lot things about the modern game that gets on my nerves, but the players getting paid isn't one of them.

He is playing at an elite level
... but he is not play at the Juan Soto level. I like a player that will walk more than strike out and it is easier to pitch around him. $440,000,000 over 15 years is a little low (not for me - where do I sign). I have a couple of questions that would be important if I was going to trade for him.

1. How good of a Right Fielder is he?

2. Is he a good person to have in the clubhouse/dugout?

3. Is he a good leader?

Superior to Bryce Harper. Equal to Mike Trout and Mookie Betts.

A trade to the Brewers for Josh Hader makes sense.

He's not a platinum glove candidate, but not a liability either.

Him not signing the deal is because he wants to win, the deal was very back loaded and the team is for sale. He's gonna get paid regardless, but I'd have a hard time signing a long term deal with a team that either traded away or let walk a World Series winning roster.

Hard to say. He and Josh Bell are the only real players on the Nats

I know it sounds silly, but $440,000,000 for 15 years is a little cheap (29.3 million per year).

batting average is only important in regards to OBP. and Soto's 2nd in the NL in OBP.

he said Yelich was better than Trout

LOL

Gigi is probably the best troll on this forum. The fact he can toss a dumb limp dicked one liner out and get 10 people to bite and do it over and over in the same thread is a masterclass.

Dont give him credit.

Hes truly that much of a dumbass. Its all natural.

Not surprised he referenced batting average
