Only the final score made Nebraska look "way better than they were even last year".
 
Also, they called this a penalty on Cam Jurgens. I guess they felt bad for the guy...

It's funny, Gabe Ikaird, who was a former OU Center and does tons of OU radio stuff, went and found Jurgens after the game and told him: "Dude, you got penalized twice for blocking too well." He said Cam just busted out laughing.

Yeah that was a silly bad call, clear acting job, even the announcers said as much. But if I remember right, they called OU on a questionable at best holding or PI call.
 
That was an amazing game from what I saw, sucks that this rivalry is just one that we used to know though.

Back in the 90's I and some friends went to Norman in an RV for a Nebraska game.
We were parked on the street waiting for the game drinking in our Husker gear with Nebraska plates. Some OU peeps came up and started plugging quarters into the parking meter where we were parked. We asked what they were doing and they informed us you had to pay for parking on Saturdays and didn't want us to get a ticket.
That in a nutshell is the Nebraska/Oklahoma rivalry.

I've noticed a new couple sitting in the seats in front of me this year. I've made small talk with them before but last Saturday I was to my seats extra early as were they. So I asked where they are from and he said Nebraska. I said you have season tickets to OU games? He said yes he just grew up liking Oklahoma and has always been a fan. So he told me he can hook me up with tickets in Lincoln next year so I pretty pumped about that.
