Nebraska: By the numbers. (Interesting Read)

I knew he had issues with antics on the field and off the field. However, I saw wins over Ohio State, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, etc. in his records.

Sounds like the off-field stuff got him in more trouble.

His last year, they were 9-4 but I see what you mean, he lost to Iowa, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. His only big win was Oregon.

The one OSU win was 2011, which was the Fickell year. They were not very good. Even the Wisky win was over a very meh 8-6 team. He did have a nice win over MSU in 2011

Also, that picture you posted was from a Mike Riley coached team, not Pelini.

? They made a Bowl Game in 2016 when Trump won the office. Biden + Trump = 2 Presidents.
They played the bowl game while Obama was still President

That wasn't Pelini. That is from 2016 with Mike Riley.

Does it matter?

We're still only talking about a 5 year window of 3 POTUS'.
Not the potential 12, 16, 20, or 24 years for 3 POTUS terms.
So we agree, it is 3 different presidents.

Yup. 3 different presidents in a 5 year window.

Not 3 separate full terms of 4 or 8 years which could be a window of 12, 16, 20, or 24 years.

It's actually just irrelevant cherry picking.

Serious, non-trolling Nebraska question:

Why was Bo Pelini fired. His records seem pretty good, especially when you compare him against the other recent Nebraska coaches:

My guess is -- Nebraska thinks they are going to get back to the 90's type teams, but it is a COMPLETELY different game now. Not only is the game different, recruiting is different, they play in a different conference, etc.

Hate to say it, as Nebraska has some of the best/nicest fans in CFB -- but those days are over.

Yup. "Throw in the towel. Just strive to be Iowa." LOL

It is not, throw in the towel -- it is, adjust expectations.

Expectations are division titles on the regular. Get to the CCG and take it from there.

Being in the Big 10 West. That is a very reasonable expectation.
