Nebraska has a savior.

Someone told me a Nebraska football youtuber said that Marcus Satterfields family has moved out of the city and his house has already been sold, though he is staying on for the rest of the season.

Idk if any of that is true.

I am watching Rhules press conference today and though he didn't explicitly aay it, it definitely sounds like Satt won't be here after this season.

Holgs is a damn good play caller.

Don't let him anywhere near a HC title.
Said in many many times while he was in Morgantown, “if he had a decent HC saving him from some of his own stupidity (going for it too often on 4th down, trying to outsmart defenses by not continuing to ride the player with the hot hand ect.) at the right place Holgerson would be an absolute nightmare”

Dunno if Nebraska is that place, I was thinking a recruiting hotbed like Florida or Texas ect. But I like this move for the Huskers. He’s got plenty of flaws as a HC but dude is a really good offensive mind all & all.

Adding a new staff member midseason...bold.

Letting said staff member call plays with less than a week in the program...lunacy.

Unless your current play caller is less creative than your average 11 year old playing Madden on a Ps2.

I like this move a lot. It's too late for it to make too huge of an impact outside of getting them to a bowl game finally, but with Raiola for two more years this could be something really interesting, especially from a recruiting/portal perspective.

I’m pretty sure Holgs started the fad of lining up in shotgun on 4th and an inch only to lose 3 yards. But that’s the only qualm I have with him as a play caller. But his apathy towards recruiting and just generally not giving a fuck about defense is why I would never hire him as the main guy if I’m a Power Conference AD.

I think someone like Rhule he can absolutely succeed under.

I'm just here for the LULZ.
Stay tuned, the LULZ ride has just started. I doubt our playbook as it exists today will get us far even with a new OC that according to his record uses a different style offense. Next year, would look better. Bowl season would be the first time we see a change in offensive style if the humbly bad Huskers get to one.

Isn't he hotly believed to be a raging alcoholic?
Rumor is he likes to party hard. But if he has a positive impact and they start winning more games its a non-issue. If not, then he is a raging alcoholic
