Look: Nebraska Fans React To Mel Tucker's Statement

Michigan State Spartans head coach Mel Tucker offered a challenge to Nebraska fans. Here's what they said back.

Next up for the Spartans is a home contest against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Ahead of that game, he said Nebraska requested around 2,500 tickets and made it clear he didn’t want to see any more Huskers fans than that.

“I don’t expect there will be one more Husker body in the crowd than that,” Tucker said via Michigan State beat writer Stephen Brooks.
 
I fully expect Nebraska to come out and lay an egg in East Lansing after their performance against Oklahoma. Until they actually turn the corner and win toss up games or games as an underdog, I will expect nothing less.

Too many mental errors and mistakes to beat good teams. They are their own biggest opponent, more so than the actual opponent.
 
I would say Fuck Nebraska, but based on the last decade of Nebraska football, God already did.
 
I want to say that this game will be close, but seeing how MSU played last week vs Miami... Mel has that team playing smart, I thought MSU way over paid for him and laughed..but it looks like they hit a homerun with him.

I thought they went crazy for a mediocre to below average coach. Last year it looked that way.

this year has looked better but I’m still not 100% on board. Northwestern got skull fucked by Duke, Miami was never any good and was only ranked as such to boost Bama, and we only scored one more point on Youngstown State than Incarnate Word. I need to see more against a legit opponent and that may not happen until 10/30.

I was in Michigan on business the week after the Cornhuskers pummeled the Spartans 55-14 in 1996. The Sports radio guys in Detroit Metro were BRUTAL! Sparty shouldn't play OOC games like that. The Coach is terrible. Stuff like that. Whatever happened to that MSU HC?
