GAME Nebraska Michigan St discussion thread 7pm ET FS1

I was in Michigan on business the week after the Cornhuskers pummeled the Spartans 55-14 in 1996. The Sports radio guys in Detroit Metro were BRUTAL! Sparty shouldn't play OOC games like that. The Coach is terrible. Stuff like that. Whatever happened to that MSU HC?

"After somebody asked me that question (about his coaching legacy) the other day, the first thing that came to my mind was my first game at Michigan State when we played Nebraska, when Tom Osborne was the coach, and we got beat like 56-7," Saban said after Monday's victory concluded a 14-1 season. "I had been in the NFL for four years, and I'm saying, 'We may never win a game as a college coach.'

"I remember running across the field (for the postgame handshake) and Tom Osborne, I think they won the national championship the year before and maybe that year, too, he said, 'You're not as bad as you think.'

"So I learned a lesson that day. As long as you do this, it's always about your next play. It's always about the next game."

I'm going to need Nebraska to win this one, mmmkkk

You don’t want undefeated Michigan State at a stadium that Harbaugh is undefeated at?
I prefer the undefeated Michigan State to play Michigan. Sparty has been impressive this year. Victories at Northwestern and Miami have been solid. I thought MSU was going to have a rebuilding year this year, apparently I was wrong. I'm dropped some coin on MSU (-5), I hope I'm not wrong again!!!

Connor Culp is going to kick in this game.
angry no way GIF

I've watched this now like 15 times and I still can't figure out what's happening with that first Miami guy. He's like running right at the MSU player, then all of a sudden turns and blocks an MSU player without the ball?

I don't believe that is a missed tackle though......or is it?? or what the hell is it?

I don't even know. It almost looks like he was blocking the MSU offensive player to make a hole for the MSU RB lol.

If State wins by 3, you lose both ways!
