Nebraska Sell Out Streak

Wow. You must really love that "sellout" streak.

I know it's over your head, but I wouldn't be satisfied with 8-5 seasons a la Washington and Auburn.

If I did I'd become an Iowa fan.

Nebraska boosters/donors have been buying tickets that have been turned in by opponents since at least the 1990's.
So you're telling us the "sellout" streak has been illegitimate for at least four decades?

Jesus.

Jesus.
Its been no different than any other school with a sellout streak

Except Nebraska has been desperately keeping it on life support for nearly fifty years.

Other schools don't do that.

I don't want to put words in @RubinRock's mouth, but I think he was trying to say that he understands why the Nebraska has to give away tickets to keep the "sellout" streak alive.

The tickets weren't "given away". They were returned tickets from Fordham and sold to donors.

It's the donors are 'giving' them to underprivileged kids as charity, not Nebraska.

That's how fucking dumb you are.

But you don't go to Ohio St 'to play no school'.

That's a retarded statement, and incorrect.

Jesus.

I'm telling you that opponents returned tickets have been bought by donors and given away for at least 4 decades.

It's typically in the hundreds and the attendance is still way over official capacity without them.

There's nothing illegitimate about the charity.

Shit goes deeper than I realized.

Oh, yeah. Now that we know it's been going on for forty plus years, it's pretty clear the record isn't legitimate at all. Check out what these desperate clowns did:

Even if it ended today it would take the next active streak 40 years to surpass us

Nebraska boosters/donors have been buying tickets that have been turned in by opponents since at least the 1990's.

So, if Nebraska boosters hadn't been artifically propping up the "sellout" streak all this time, Oklahoma and probably Georgia would have actually broken their record by now.

Nope. nebraska was winning in the 90's and didnt drop off after the streak started until recently. your logic is flawed

That was fucking dumb and laughable. No I wouldn't.

Actually I could care less about the sell-out streak. Use your little search function to see where I've ever brought it up on here or East German hoopla.

LOL at you thinking 8-5 Washington or Auburn are in a good position moving forward.

LMFAO!!!
Auburn has about 2 years and then we’ll make some noise. We are good to make a solid run every 10 years with a couple of decent ones in between.

1972 - One loss number 5 in the country.
1983 - One loss number 2 in the country
1993 - 11-0 but on probation
2004 - Undefeated
2010 - National Champs
2013 - Played for a national championship

Auburn should make a run in 2023 or 2024 based on historical trends going back to the 70’s.

Nebraska legitimately may never sniff the playoff.

That's not what your boy, @Red_Alert, said. He said it's been going on since at least the 1990s.
donors buying tickets and giving them away has gone on everywhere forever but it isnt a means to support a sellout streak... rather it is a charitable donation that some buddy buddy gets in and gets before the GP gets a chance because they are returned from the visitor...

your "gotcha" moment isnt ever going to happen.
