Nebraska should go after Mark Stoops

Nebraska needs Art Briles.

They need the innovative offense, the recruiting skill and the hookers.

I don't think innovative offenses work at Nebraska because they don't have the skilled positions in their region and no one in the B1G plays that way. I feel like a system like what Stoops runs at Kentucky would be a winner at Nebraska.

Basically, if Nebraska mimicked Wisconsin, I think Nebraska would start winning again. Nebraska was always famed for wishbone/I-formation. I think those days are gone forever but a hybrid of that old playstyle with enough passing/creative plays to keep teams honest is the winner.

They should go after Petersen. Hard.

He's an excellent, proven coach, and he would have the support that he needs from those in power.

Theres also the less noticeable things that Petersen and his family look for like a good community of people that aren't psychotic whackadoodles.

He'd work for sure but prob be easier to get Dana Holgorsen and let him take his offense and TX connections now to get ya to 7-9 wins per year on the regular with a double digit year here n there.

Haven't interacted with the Nebraska fans on the Hoop much? One of em typed like Popeye

I like the Jeff Traylor talk. I would also check in on Campbell at ISU. He is a mid-west guy and standards might have come down after a disappointing year last year

Add in for Campbell that it’s highly unlikely Iowa State I’ll ever get invited to one of the Power 2 conferences and MC may jump to a team in one of those two conferences eventually.

He played hard to get when he first jumped into he scene, but that was before he put on the freshmen 15

If Jamey Chadwell can string a third in a row 11 win season for Coastal Carolina, it'll be him.

Joe Moglia is good buds with him and said someone from Nebraska's athletic dept called a couple weeks ago to gauge his interest.

I was thinking about Mark Stoops and how why other programs haven't gone after him. OU made some sense last year but I think Brent Venerables was a better grab for OU's system.

However, Stoops playtime fits Nebraska and B1G West. It seems like a match made in heaven. Look at what Stoops has done at Kentucky. With time, he could make Nebraska tough and physically opposing again for opponents and I think that could bring respectability back to Nebraska.

fuck off, he's Kentucky's, they can get another coach.

He’s better than anything you have had since. The big mistake was firing Solich.
