He'd make a great OC at Ohio State now that he's got an arrest.Next coach of Auburn

I honestly don't know how I could even find that but I almost guarantee you there's a thread about it still at tHoop. She sent a letter before his death and was trying to get help from anyone and was wanting to spread the word that he had made mistakes but was deeply misunderstood and a good person. Extremely depressing.Details?
Found it! Juanita Phillips Letter Re: Her Son LawrenceDetails?
He was found dead in his cell. Family and friends and Tom Osborne don't believe he committed sucide.Damn

This is a good article about it: The Final, Fateful Days of Lawrence Phillips
I don't think so. No, he didn't need to be anywhere but in prison and I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him, but I like the way Tom Osborne summed it up: he was deeply hurt as a child and never found a way to get over it.Very likely he got murdered. But let's be honest. He was human garbage.
It's hard to believe someone in the prison system would murder him. Who would have any motivation to do that? Dude deserved to be in prison, wasn't ever going to get out and didn't have shit on anyone or he'd have sung already.allegedly. people close to LP think he was epsteined

I understand completely. I'm sure his victims would all have something to say about whether he was garbage or not. Dude was broken and almost certainly would never be safe outside of prison. The very best way to deal with that is to assault women and children.
Mickey is free now...
ummmm...... I was under the impression that as of about 10 years ago the victim doesn't need to testify in Nebraska to get a conviction.
The police investigation gives the prosecutor everything he/she needs to move forward. That is why Mickey was arrested that day.
