Nebraska vs Wisconsin thread

Then the extra practice time is just what the team needs then. They already were blown out by OSU, if they played week 2 and Wisconsin blew them out, you could have players giving up already.

Wisconsin is not Ohio State.

Wisconsin is not Ohio State.
Wisconsin has beaten Nebraska 7 years in a row and 9 of the last 10 times they played.
Are they OSU? No. OSU is in a league of its own in the B1G right now. But Wisconsin is on a different level than Nebraska. Did you see anything from Nebraska last week that makes you think they are a different program from last year or the year before that?

Best thing that could've happened to Wisky. Once they were down to their 87th string QB theres no way they wanted to play the game. I've always thought this should be an L not a cancelation. If you can't keep your players safe or your players refuse to take proper precaution for 2 months its not fair to Nebraska ( or any team ) to just lose a scheduled game and not receive something for holding up their end.

Irrelevant. I guess Nebraska should just be happy about not taking another loss rather than actually playing a football game.

Because that’s what competitors come to college for, to practice, not actually compete in games. Especially seniors with minimal eligibility left.

They could always study.

It would be nice if the CFP committee announces that they will push back their final meeting one week to the 26th to allow for makeup games that the shitty B1G planned for, but decided not to attempt. And if that happens, hopefully no more cancellations happen for Nebraska or Wisconsin in this regard.

I’m not overly upset with Wisconsin I’m upset with the B1G and their handling of this.

And the idea that Nebraska should just be happy with avoiding a potential loss is completely asinine given the current environment.

The guy said -- Wisconsin is not OSU. I was just pointing out, Wisconsin has dominated Nebraska.

Of course guys want to play games, but I think missing this game could help Nebraska, as they won't start 0-2 and they have an extra week to work on their issues.

It's a joke, son.

Yes.

I have already said that I am not mad at Wisconsin... with that said, some of the team boards are funny. I saw some people calling them the Vagers.

Y'know, the whole situation sucks. We, as fans, are powerless here. Some get mad, some make jokes and in the end, there will be no game Saturday.

On to next week.

They lost by 35 and while it was a road game, there was no crowd. So home and road means little this year. What is it you saw?

I respect your opinion. IMO, if Nebraska played Wisconsin and lost to go to 0-2 -- it'd be demoralizing for the team. I think skipping the Wisconsin game and instead having an extra week to prepare for NW will give Nebraska a chance to get a win and build some confidence.

Don't you have to push some button on your combine to have it do it's rounds of harvesting the cornfields?
I as well as you don't know what the hell you're talking about.
