Neighborhood Karen is pissed off we lit fireworks

My middle daughter turns 16 this year and we’ll be getting her a car, but there’s no more room in the garage. Going to have to invest in one of those inflatable hail defender car covers for her.
Can recommend them! My first thought was that the neighbors would all laugh at this stay-puft turd looking thing but once hail came through after I set it up multiple neighbors bought one. Pretty quick to set up and the peace of mind is worth every penny. I don't give a shit if our roof gets torn up, those get replaced here in D/FW every 3-5 years anyways. But cars piss me off when I have to deal with hail damage.

3-car garage was the only requirement i had when we bought our new house. I didn't care about any of the other shit she wanted in our next house.

We got a 2 car garage with everything she wanted. :L
Happy wife, happy sandwiches

Kind of difficult to find >2-car garage around here.

And even if I bought a 4-car garage, there'd probably be so much stuff in it, we still wouldn't have room for even one car.

Here in town most houses have them, but most are two story. We were looking for the unicorn of one story but still enough room for a pool. That meant 2-car garage. Every so often you see a one story on at least a quarter acre here in town with a 3-car, but it's rare and with the housing market in D/FW the last few years they are sold before the sign goes up like everything else.

Now I'm just too lazy to move again until the kid is out of the local schools.

I could use another garage.
I've looked at buying land just to have a big shop that I can store projects in. Land near DFW is apparently littered with gold, though. Anything much further out makes it impractical. I'll stick with leaving my truck in the driveway for now and stick with one project at a time.

I’ve got access to a lot of barns thanks to living close to family. Makes it easy to store lots of things that I really don’t need.

Like my 94 Beretta. lol

The heartbeat of America

My wife parks in the basement garage. Me & the kids park in the driveway (we don't get much snow, some hail & a tornado from time to time, but that is what auto insurance is for). I got too much shit to pull 2 vehicles in my garage.

I spent 2.5 days last week cleaning the garage out. Holy shit, what I can accumulate in 5 years. That was the last time I did a thorough cleaning. 4 pickup truck loads of shit to the storage unit & the dumpster.

So... back to the OP.... Did you & Karen kiss & make up???

That looks like my 95 Chevy Corsica
Yea, similar body styles and basically the same car with different trim packages. I will say, I bought a '96 Corsica at an auction in the early 2000's and while it was an ugly plum color, it was a great transportation car that gave me no issues. I ended up trading it in because we needed a little bigger family car.
