First time I've ever seen one of my teams win it all, and they were the most resilient team I've ever seen.

Stumble out of the gate, bullpen getting shelled, Riley and Acuna was the only offense the entire month of April.

Expect to have Mike Soroka back, he retears his Achilles.

Marcel Ozuna breaks his finger and then beats up his wife and hopefully never sees the field as a Brave again

Max Fried has multiple DL stints and bad numbers in the first half

Travis D'Arnaud tears a ligament in his thumb and misses half the season

Ian Anderson misses two months

Ronald Acuna Jr tears his ACL in July ending his MVP campaign.

The team got to .500 and then had a 4 game losing streak multiple times before the All Star Break.

They come out of the All Star break going W-L-W-L for 17 straight games

4.5 games back at the trade deadline and we add Joc Pederson, Adam Duvall, Eddie Rosario and Jorge Soler, and then the team finally gets going. Didn't make to over .500 until mid August, and they just kept winning once they got there.

The retooled outfield, Freddie Freeman's great second half and Austin Riley kept the offense rolling, and Fried and Morton were nails down the stretch.

Weak division or not, we won the God damn thing.

And then in the playoffs, underdogs in all 3 series, and never faced an elimination game.

From Freddie's homer off of Hader to beat the Brewers, to Eddie Rosario and Tyler Matzek taking the Dodgers' lunch money to Charlie Morton breaking his leg in game one completely derailing the pitching plan to getting the last out, this has been a hell of a ride that I will remember forever.

I'm drunk and y'all don't care, but fuck it. Go Braves.

You know how to change a narrative about your team? You fucking win, baby.

I was most impressed with your manager.
