I buy a pair of these every Spring
This year, NB put out a sweet model in my high school colors.

I was a very loyal NB customer for many years. Good quality.

Then I bought a pair of Brooks Adrenaline Guiderails. A little more expensive but a very quality made shoe. Too well made actually. I have had that same pair of shoes for 6 years now....looks like they didn't wear out at all. It's really amazing. I'm going to order another pair this week because they are 20% off right now.

I always got NB 410/412 trail runners for several reasons:
• they fit
• they came in wide sizes
• I knew they worked on trails well
• they lasted a good solid year under lots of hiking
• I could always get them on some sale for $28-35.

Now, I had to wait a crazy long time and combine some sales to get them at $55.

At that price, I’m going to start different research and pay a little more to get the much better made stuff.

Maybe BROOKS or the advanced ASICS stuff or MERRELL or something else.
