New SEC Alignment

just move bama and auburn to the east..

Big12 South with 8 schools
SEC East with 8 schools.. wonder how they'll pair up the one cross divisional game.. I'm sure Nick will want MSU
They aren't doing divisions. Top 2 teams in Atlanta.

they should, at least for schedule sake.. you can still take the top two regardless of division though

If they do, Bama and Auburn to the east, Mizzou to the West. I don't see that happening.

why not it preserves most rivalries outside of whomever rival is to LSU.. but they can compensate those with UT and ou for a season

More better games without divisions, even in a 1-7-7.

I also don't think they want UGA and Bama in the same division for this last 4 team CFP.

What the hell does "blocked by an extension" mean? Are "they" blocking it, this site blocking it, or my fucked up lap-top blocking it?

Alright, it's now unblocked. :playball:

since it was on twitter, those twits musta unblocked it

As has been reported the last few days, an 8-game IC schedule for 2024 and 2025, with a requirement that you play one other P5 team. Most of the SEC teams, at least the good ones, play 1-2 P5 already.

No divisions.

Those of us that are CFB maniacs just got screwed out of watching some additional high quality games. I’d bet 5-6 of those those additional 8 SEC games would be more attractive than what the other SEC OOC P5 opponents will.

I would bet that the other conferences had been led to believe the SEC would go to a 9 game conference schedule with the 12 team playoff. Shame on them for believing it.
