Going East and WEst. You pretty much go back to the original SEC, sans LSU and Miss schools. I would think old school SEC fans would like that better
On third thought:
Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas A&M
Tennessee, Vandy, Missouri, Kentucky
Auburn, Ole Miss, Miss St, Alabama
Florida, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina
For Missouri. I agree.
lol @ listening to FinebaumLOL @ dude baby from Florida on Finebaum that wants no part of playing Alabama every year.
Ok but all time means what today? all time means that we are supposed to take Texas and Tennessee and West Virginia and Georgia Tech and Nebraska at the same standard as to what that shows and ignore teams like Oregon, Stanford, Iowa and Wisconsin who arent historically good but over more recent times have had success.
In SC, nothing else on TV.lol @ listening to Finebaum

congrats on being good when my grandpa was a kid. sorry you are no longer that team? Players today want to play for the good teams of today not yesterday. some have stayed there some have not. some have moved up and recruiting and on field results show it.Yep.
Sorry, Not. Sorry

Don’t matter. Winning your pod doesn’t get you anything.
Why have them?Don’t matter. Winning your pod doesn’t get you anything.
Because alternate schemes only have you playing certain schools every seven or fourteen years. Why have them?
Had Tennessee with Alabama, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Florida, LSU, and ArkansasI can't speak for anyone else but as a Tennessee fan, Alabama, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt will be required to stay on our schedule. Florida and Georgia are highly preferred as well although I could see a scenario where Tennessee losses them.
Bama would probably have to be Auburn and Tennessee even though that's not much of a rivalry anymoreNeed some help from you old school sec hicks and hillbillies
what if the organizational scheme was:
Each team has two perm rivals they play each year, and rotate home and aways with all other teams in the conference.
TEXAS: OU and TAMU
OU: TX and MIZZOU
TAMU: TEXAS and LSU
AUBURN: BAMA and UGA
UGA: AUBURN and FLORIDA
LSU: TAMU and OLE MISS
MIZZOU: OU and ARKANSAS
ARKANSAS: MIZZOU and KENTUCKY
OLE MISS: MISS ST and LSU
MISS ST: OLE MISS and BAMA
KENTUCKY: TENN and ARKANSAS
TENNESSEE: VANDY and KENTUCKY
VANDY: TENN and SCAR
BAMA: MISS ST and AUBURN
SCAR: FLORIDA and VANDY
FLORIDA: UGA and SCAR
this seems fair. The only potential change I might make is have MISS ST play TAMU and therefore LSU play BAMA.
