The guy told me what to get but I’m way too tired to listen let alone remember. I think I wrote down though. Whatever he suggested he says it will solve the issue permanently for like $1500. I want to say he said no battery but I’m not positive.

I once had a water-powered backup sump pump that ran off city water pressure. Seemed like a good idea until the primary pump took a shit, and the water-powered backup immediately followed suit.

What really sucked about that was that not only was water coming in from outside, the fucking water-powered backup failed and was pumping additional water into the basement. I was shop vacc'ing like a motherfucker and not making any progress and didn't understand why until I turned off the water main.
