New Texas law tomorrow that will blow up marriages….

I'm suggesting that porn isn't the problem... it's the addicted person's current problem.

Porn didn't make them an addict, if it wasn't porn it'd be something else.
The implications of generations of boys getting their sexuality hardwired into their brains based on porn is terrifying. To quote one scientist in the book, the result will be "a tsunami of societal ills."

I have the same problem when I talk to my wife about her anxiety... my brain isn't broken, so it's hard to understand those that are. And I don't believe the answer for most is in some pill.
No medication isn't always the answer. Some can benefit more from therapy and understanding the root cause of their anxiety and developing skills to cope or develop a healthy response. On the flip side, some need medication.

Pretty sure people go to the bathroom everyday. Roy is trying to cherry pick

I'll readily admit, I don't understand the broken brain of an addict, but would I be correct in assuming that the thing they're addicted to is less of a problem than their addictive personality?

Many many people can enjoy alcohol at a frequency that fits their needs without requiring it to get through life. If some people cross that line, is alcohol the problem, or is that person the problem? I get that it can be a little of both, but on the balance scale, which side is the bigger problem?

feeling anxiety is a very rare thing for me.

The last time I can really remember it is about a year ago when I was changing jobs as well as getting snipped. And the changing jobs part was more feeling bad about informing my partners that I was leaving our company. I had nothing against them other than the fact that I predicted the company would go tits up in 6 months, so I was jumping off a sinking ship with mostly people I liked remaining on board. My prediction almost came true... it took 10 months for them to go tits up.
And when you look at how one person experiences anxiety, you are literally looking at ONE person. The human brain is an amazing thing

It's not a broken brain. It's almost always a brain functioning exactly as it's designed. Read the book. Thank me later.

so being able to separate reality from fantasy is the problem?

I've seen porn where the delivery person fucks the resident, yet when I get pizza delivered, I have no expectation that person is going to drop to their knees and suck me off.

I've also seen superhero movies and I don't believe a guy can turn big and green when he gets angry.

With the exception of a newborn who is born addicted, every addiction is the result of a choice. No one is forced to use drugs, alcohol, or porn. It is a choice.
But I think we can all agree that in comparison to accessing alcohol or drugs, porn has historically been much easier to gain access too. I am thinking of children in this case.

I think you are being too literal in this case. Using your phrase "prone to addiction", lets say a husband who chronically watches porn now loses interest in his wife sexually and then struggles to perform when trying. Is that a fantasy?

Addiction is the problem, not the porn, gambling, booze, smack, hookers, potato chips, etc.

I told mine I was fascinated by it and researching to help a friend. She actually believed it.
That fake diploma we made for the Southern New Hampsire Institute of Sexual Science didn't hurt either

Semantics. When someone is addicted to porn, porn addiction is the problem. You're suggesting that if they resolve that addiction, they'll just jump to another, which is not true.
