NEWS FLASH: The Job is too Big for Lincoln Riley

What if I told you that Oklahoma would lose their first 2 conference games and no.... not to Texas.... not to Nebraska.... not to A&M, but to Kansas St and Iowa St. What a weird time. Fucking insane when you think about Oklahoma historically.

If it makes you guys feel better the job is too big for Gus Malzahn but we are stuck with him for at least a couple of years because of that idiotic contract they gave him when Arkansas wanted to hire him.

Think about it. Arkansas was going to pay us to take him off our hands and we gave him a 6 million 7 year deal. Fuck my life.

I'm still trying to figure out why Bo Nix is the QB. He is athletic, but he doesn't impress me at all. If Auburn had a QB to stretch the field with some of the WR's they have -- they could be a tough out for anyone.

It's not all Nix the O-Line is brand new and haven't had time to gell and they're getting their ass licked. Last year's O-Line sucked just as bad so Nix doesn't trust his pocket and rushes everything. Hopefully Chad Morris can coach him up because he has the talent.

I just don't see it with Nix. He has happy feet in the pocket. With the speed Auburn has on the outside at WR -- they need a QB who can stretch the field with his arm. It'd open everything up for them. I'd love to know what his completion % is on passes 15+ yards. It has to be brutal, as they throw so many short balls and his completion % is between 55-57% and you aren't winning anything with a QB like that.

He beat Bama as a freshman.
 
Riley is a good coach as long as he has someone else to coach up and teach a QB how to play and then he can steal them.

I can't imagine Lincoln Riley and Oklahoma struggling not having a 5th year QB transfer from another team leading their offense.
