NFL Draft Thread

I know it’s just the 7th round, but Dan Jackson going from walk on to getting drafted as a DB is a hell of an accomplishment. Damn good Dawg too

Congratulations to Mr. Irrelevant Koby Minor.

Given Cleveland's reputation for being a QB destroyer, and a pretty fucking dull town, he must be suicidal.
Ill Allow It GIF

You and I have been posting together for how long and that was your take on what I posted? You've heard of sarcasm and even use it quite often.
My mistake and apology. I clearly missed the sarcasm.

This is horrible. If you live in the Cleveland market ALL of the sports talk radio spends about 95% on the Browns year round. It was 98% leading up to the draft. I cannot imagine what its going to be like now.

The only reason I won't say 100% is they break for news and updates and mention that the Cavs won or the Guardians played

IMHO, this data is evidence that the G5 needs their own division. And maybe the Middling 2 and some of the SEC and B1G bottom dwellers in there with them.) 114 draft picks came from only 15 teams.

Drafted players by conference:

Power 2
SEC - 79 (63 of those from only 1/2 (8) of the SEC teams)
B1G - 71 (51 from less than 1/2 (7) of the teams)

Middling 2
ACC - 42
Big 12 - 31

Group of 5 (Plus PAC 2) - 19

I thought NIL would have a chance at more widely distributing talent. Guess I was only dreaming.

Kiper released his draft grades. Only one team received an A+

The other main reason I gave the Browns an A+ shouldn't be a surprise. They got quarterback Shedeur Sanders at No. 144 to finish their seven-pick draft. He was my No. 5 overall prospect in the class and clear QB1. He brings excellent accuracy, completing 74% of his throws last season. He brings toughness in the pocket. I think he will be an outstanding pro QB, and I believe we will look back on this pick in a few years and question what the rest of the NFL was doing.
