For as good as he is every Eagles fan is nodding their heads now. He has always been rather horrendous with timeouts.

I'm a 1/4 bottle of richters in, feeling fine. About to get the flat top warming up, doing a steak hibachi dinner for the wife and kid tonight. Weather is too nice. Loving this weather before the ice gets here Thursday.

That's a headscratcher for a coach that has been in the NFL for so long. Just throw the red flag, why call the timeout first? It would be more understandable if it were a former college HC in his first year in the NFL since all plays can get a booth review in college and the team gets a timeout back if they call a timeout to give the booth time to signal the review.

I know Cincy would have declined it, but why was that not flagged. hell I remember Aikman getting flagged for "calling a timeout when we didn't have any" and he wasn't even close to doing the timeout signal. he was hitting his wrists together to call an audible at the line.


Then fucking Muppet-voice Mahomes flat out tries to call a TO he doesn't have and no flag. Must be nice to have the refs love you.

I'm used to it 99% of the time. only notice it when I'm outside on the patio and something is going on I'm trying to listen to.
