Had a bowl earlier, great time for some good ol chili beans right nowWorked on leaves and mowed this morning. Then had to drive the family around our small town for a couple hours while they played Pokemon Go.......yeah, I know what you thinking
Then came home to drink some Stone Fear, Movie, Lions IPAs, and Evan Williams white label during the VT game. Wife is in bed and I'm getting chilli for tomorrow into the croc pot as I type.
I’m too lazy to ask Dr Google. Wtf was there record last year? Since when is NC even close to a top 10 program? Is this Covid related? Just throwing teams where ever they feel like?North Carolina is not a top 5 team in America. AP needs to stop with the silly politics

The gf won her company's cook-off a couple times. She grew up never having it.I had to change my recipe when I started dating my wife since she didn't like beans, but I have "won" several cookoffs with both recipes, so it's all good.

Gotta say, before dating her, I never did think about putting bacon in my chili, but it works, and is good
Kroger had bogo for chuck, so I have a couple in the freezerI've got multiple variations depending upon the "audience", with bacon being a part of one that is more BBQ in flavor.
Many recipes have been tried over the years, with one "base" that we always lean on with a tweak here or there, but it's a staple in our fall/winter menu.
Nothing wrong with a meat based chili without beans.....I had to change my recipe when I started dating my wife since she didn't like beans, but I have "won" several cookoffs with both recipes, so it's all good.

I always prefer beef cuts in chili. When I was younger, I got sick after having ground beef chili one time...I can still eat it, but I just prefer making it without![]()
Post #26 is last weekend's meal.
If cooking for others I like to use different meats/cuts, but for us we either use regular ground beef or ground turkey.
Not much into transitive properties, but my alma mater lost by only seven to JSU today and led for three quarters
... the same JSU that led Florida State for three quarters not that long ago.![]()
Try Black beans. You’re welcome.True, but then again chili, pinto, and kidney beans can add a different dimension.
I used to let it continue to cook down and thicken up to use it as hot dog chili for Sunday.
