Early game....BU fans prematurely rush the field. should be a 15 yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct as the rules dictate, but no call. Riley was ready to concede the game with a couple seconds left, for the coaches and players safety, knowing that Baylor had zero security containment. From the Baylor side, they wanted to give their frosh kicker experience and possible tie breaker points. No matter what side, poor fandom.
In the TTU/ISU game, a whole fan section of the stadium had to be moved as TTU fans were throwing shit on the field. Surprisingly, not tortillas. TTU is infamous for their shitty fans, so not a huge surprise.

That is called Saturday in the fall in Lubbock

Probably had something to do with Beth Moans calling a B12 game today.

I'm still confused why he put his team back out there, knowing that they were going to be mobbed by Baylor fans.

He said they sent 11 guys back out to "stay classy".

Fuck that. Player safety over "stay classy".

Which is why he didn't want anyone to go back out but basically got overruled by the officials so he only sent out 11 team members.

The officials don't have a say in it.

Presumably a forfeit. What are they going to do about it?

Is it better to forfeit or finish, even with a loss?

Riley said he was okay with "calling" the game over but it was Aranda who insisted the game continue so he could get his 3 points

Fuck Aranda, and fuck Baylor. They don't get to dictate terms when they can't control their fans.

I thought it sucked but not the first time people have stormed a field early and been made to move back.

Sure, and it's never a good environment for the opposing team. If the game is still in doubt, keep fighting. Once it's over, and the stadium security can't guarantee your team's safety, GTFO of there. Refs blew it.

I guess so long as they weren't armed like Tennessee fans...

The Tennessee one was worse. Refs should have ended it and declared Ole Miss the winners, with the SEC telling Tennessee if they want to host SEC games with fans they need to get their shit together.

Let's not forget this...

If this keeps up, it will be a great day.

There's not much more you can do to tennessee fans. They have to play on Obknoxville, wear hideous orange and their stadium has a body farm.

Being told they can't attend a game might be a blessing

I think I'm just sick of the entitled, millenial punks not knowing what is appropriate when you have the privilege of attending a game.

This isn't just a Tennessee or Baylor problem. It's an issue at Oregon and every other fanbase. Time for the leagues to get tough on fan misconduct. For the NCAA, it's putting it clearly: get your fans under control, or fans will not be permitted to attend.
