Just a great read to try and run for it. Both teams were guilty of leaving the quarterback unaccounted for as a runner.

Freeman must think differently.. What can you do the game was in his hands. You don't want to take a sack or commit a turnover. Burn the clock and hand the ball to the kicker.

We've only seen him kick a few times. The coach sees him every day in practice.

With only 30 seconds left and no timeouts, I think, Notre Dame's options were kind of limited.

Duke decided to punt the ball rather than let their kicker try a field goal. in hindsight that wasn't looking like a very good decision.

I don’t care if you have a good kicker. Never play for a fg in college. It’s bound for failure. They are worse than Shaq from the Free throw line
