ZERO and I mean ZERO chance we get past the Padres….if we don’t blow this right here

Wow we actually made the playoffs despite pretty much everyone getting hurt for significant amounts of time

Sorry Dbacks fans.

We appreciate the not really trying in game 2, Mets

Never a doubt. Enjoy the last spot in the playoffs, Mets.

this team hasn't been fun to watch at all, but at least they made the playoffs

meh
They remind me a lot of the 09 Braves who would have also benefited from expanded playoffs. All pitching and only like 1.5 bats. A winning product at the end of the day, but brutal to watch

That team lost their last 6 games to miss the playoffs.

Apparently todays Game 1 must’ve killed Pete Rose.

But it’s kinda crazy that the Dbacks won 89 games and will miss the playoffs all together with three wild cards

84 wins was good enough last year
86 was good enough in the AL this year

Brewers are 5-1 against the Mets this year, 4-2 against the Braves, and 4-3 against the D-Backs. Got the Mets 1st rnd is the best we could ask for.

Don’t think they were ever leading the WC. They won 15 of 17 prior to those final 6 to even be in the discussion

But, Vazquez, Jurrjens and Hanson were great. Kawakami was decent, and Lowe was basically Charlie but could eat more innings.

It was a great pitching staff, but Chipper and McCann were the only bats in the lineup

So, who’s pitching tomorrow?

Fried would be short rest
