It’s a little too early for speculation. He is firing his OC to ease the heat. Only issue is the season is only half done, so that offering may not appease the boosters and AD
 
ou fans didn't like Lebby and were ready for Arnold to replace Gabriel..

They hated Litrell for Arnold flopping and Hawk not being able to read outside his primary target

They have the TE/QB coach now calling plays..

Guess Joe C is going to make the OC hire instead of BV?

I don't care who hires the OC as long as they go outside. Willie Korn? I hear Mike McCarthy might be available soon lol.
 
Seth said so in every presser after every squeak and loss…it all ends with him when it came to the offense.

There’s a standard. His offense didn’t meet it.

OU sucked their first 4 years in the Big 12 too before dominating that conference.
 
Here's the hand Seth Littrell was dealt....

Out of 133 teams, OU is #132 in sacks allowed (only nine sacks allowed, last year) Both centers, both tackles, and one guard have dealt with injury issues, all season. 2nd and 3rd team OL have been forced into action.
All top five wide receivers have been injured and all are still out.
Starting QB is a RS freshman and the back-up is a true freshman.
As a result, this Sooner offense is close to being the worst in school history.

Both starting CB's are out for the year.

But despite all that his schemes were garbage.

I'm just saying OU can turn it around. The Big 12 had Nebraska, Colorado, Texas A&M, and Missouri is the early years. OU beat 3 top 5 Big 12 teams in three straight games in 2000. It's been done before and Venables was a part of that.

Serious question, not just ragging OU. I don’t understand how the schools that recruit top 10 classes have such a drop off when injuries hit. Their replacements are usually 4* & 5* guys. Unlike a Purdue, Wake Forest or Houston. What’s the deal?
